The Nanny

Plot
Fran Fine is dumped by her dead beat boyfriend and ends up as a cosmentic door to door sales girl. She stumbles her way across the queens burough to manhattan hoping to make a big sell at the sheffield residence. When she is mistaken for a interviewing nanny instead of a cosmetics girl by the sheffields butler. She jumps at the chance for a new fantastic job, however Mr Sheffield sees right through her act. But hires her anyway, only because the nanny agency is out of nannys for the weekend. She ends up staying as the nanny, an unlikely nanny to a disfunctional family. She eventually brings them together as a family and ends up marrying the father.
"The Sound of Music" meets "I love Lucy".

Stock Tip
In this episode Brighton pumps up his self image by dressing 'cooler'. He just as he's leaving the house to go meet his friends. He picks up the family boom box, press's play and...instead of rap coming out of the box. It's Julie Andrews singing "The Lonely Goatherd"(actually it's just a pretty good imatation of her). Brighton scolds his father Max (who obviously was the one listening to it).

Frans new boyfriend Tony (who happens to be a godfather rip-off) played by Burke Moses (far right) also happens to play Captain von Trapp in several productions of SOM. (including one that I happened to see).
The Kibutz
Fran gives advice to Maggie after Max threatens to send her to a convent in the swiss alps.
Fran:"I've got two words for you. Sound of Music. In two hours Maria managed to ditch the nuns, marry a gorgeous Captain and sell the movie rights."
Where are the Pearls!?
Fran gets anmesia and when she wakes up in the hospital the children all re-introduce themselves. Each one says their name and steps forward.
Fran:"Wait this sounds familar. Was I singing on some austrian hillside with a really butch hair cut?"

Val: Fran what happend to living like a nun? I pictured you climbing every mountain, fording every stream...
